Domain Names.... Those funny www.thisandthat.coms you hear all the time....

By now, just about everyone has probably heard of the www. this and www. that.... Those crazy internet domain names. They really do make life a lot easier for us humans for without the crazy names we would be trying to remember things like www.189.134.65.36 or similar addresses. That's where the domain name comes in... You find a name that is available, that name is actually a number to the computer but you as a human can simply remember and type the name rather than the number to arrive on the web where you want to be. Oh the magic of the web, isn't it wonderful that they have thought of things like this to save you time.

Well, it isn't all that simple.... Try to find a name you want these days is getting harder and harder.... All of the lucrative names are pretty much gone unless you go with an extension outside the us sphere of extensions. So what am I talking about now you ask?

You know, those little extensions at the end of a domain name... .com, .net & .org. The days of being limited to those 3 have past, there are more now.... .info, .biz and .us. If you want, go outside of the United States and there are even more to choose from as most country's now have at least one domain extension such as .ca, .uk, nz, and .au. If you though a lot of those were familiar looking to you, you were probably right, most are 2 letter country codes that are also that countries domain extension.

Buying your domain name. $10.00 per year with a 2 year registraion.

We can secure your domain name for you, as long as it is one of the following extensions: .com, .net, .org. .info, .biz, or .us If the name you select is available we can secure it for you in short order.

At the current time we charge a flat $10.00 per year domain registration fee with a 2 year registration minimum ($20.00 fee total). You are responsible for this fee and any subsequent renewal fees as well in the future upon expiration of the first 2year registration.

We do a minimum 2 year registration to help offset the cost of the time to do the necessary domain name registration process, anything less just isn't worthwhile for us.

Note regarding other extensions.

Many of the foreign country extensions are far higher. We can help you find sources to register names with with foreign extensions, but cannot give prices until the source is found for the name and extension you select.
